6 Ways to Expand Your Comfort Zone

      · Lifestyle and Manifestation

      Dear Luminous Leader,

Humans are creatures of habit. We know this because of the vast traditions that follow generation after generation in every culture. As humans, we hold tight to our traditions and way of doing things.

However, if you want to be successful, you must be willing to break out of your comfort zone.

To break through and experience more in life letting go of your comfort zone is the answer.

To do so, you’ll need to:

      1. Learn New Things.

      • Whether it’s your industry or something about your personal life, accepting that you’re going to be a lifelong learner is essential to growth.
      • Sadly, most people don’t read a book after they’re finished with school. If you want to stand out and do great things, keep learning.

      2. Face Your Fears.

      • If you have any fears, address them. If the fear is blocking your success in some way, find a way to mitigate it. If the fear does not affect your life, you can forget about it.
      • It’s better to address things you either want to and can change or focus on the positives instead.

      3. Try New Things.

      • Even if all you do is take a new way to work or go running in a new spot, trying new things expands your mind.
      • You can get your creative juices flowing by activating new segments of your brain, andyou can do this just by doing something you haven’t done before.

      4. Open Your Mind To Someone Else’s Ideas.

      • Read some ideas contrary to yours that are also backed up by fact and research. For example, there are several healthy diets that people can use that seem to be opposing but are all backed up by sound science.
      • For example, even if you are a vegan, you can accept that humans need protein for nutrition based on the research, even if ultimately you choose your protein from non-animal sources.

      5. Accept Failure as Part of Life.

      • You’re not going to succeed the first time you try at everything you do. If you succeed at everything you try, you’re not pushing yourself enough or setting your goals high enough.

      6. Accept Changes as Part of Life.

      • The one standard in every life is change. Nothing ever stays the same. Even when you think nothing is changing, it’s changing. Keep aware of what’s changing as it affects your life.

When you allow yourself to try new things, learn new ways of thinking, and be open-minded about it, you’re going to expand your comfort zone exponentially.

The fantastic thing is, you can expand your comfort zone while honoring your principles, morals, and values as well as the traditions you value without road blocking yourself.

      Until next time,

      ~ CBB
